The Urban Editions Darwen Solid Wood Coffee Table On Mid Century Hairpin Legs

Classic hairpin legs give this minimalist design a mid-century look which will complement any interior with its clean, linear proportions. Its versatile design means it can double as a coffee table, TV stand, low sideboard or bench. 

We make this design from a selection of beautiful hardwoods in a range of sizes so you can select from the dropdowns the combination that works best for you.

The pictures show 140cm and 100cm Dark Ash versions on hairpin legs, and a 120cm wide oak version on standard clear coated steel legs.

This design is made to order and will be ready to ship in about 7-8 weeks.

The oak and iroko versions will be paired as standard with clear coated steel legs, the dark ash and walnut come with black powder coated legs.

Our designs are built to metric sizes. All imperial dimensions have

been rounded to the nearest 1/2". Wood will shrink and expand across the grain so the depth may vary by a few millimetres (1/4").

This classic minimalist coffee table is made in the UK in small batches using high quality hardwoods. It is made using traditional joinery techniques with solid joints and concealed solid wood plugs which add character to the top surface. It is finished with a high quality low sheen extra durable lacquer that protects it while preserving all the natural character of the solid wood.

Wood options:

European oak, ash, iroko and walnut are the standard timbers we make this design from.

Assembly:

This unit is sent fully built but with the legs detached, bolts are supplied ready for easy assembly.

We also make this design on minimalist square frame legs for a more contemporary look.
