tickit Holly's Phonics

From Tickit, Holly's Phonics is a phonics matching game developed with an experienced educational specialist. It uses picture tiles and word tiles to support phonics practice, with dots and dashes under each word to help children segment sounds and blend them to read the word.

Bars on the front of the tiles line up to show a correct match. The set can also be used as a memory matching game by turning the tiles over to find picture and word pairs. Picture tiles can be sorted by colour, animals, objects, people and places, while word tiles can be grouped by starting sound, rhyming sounds or ending sounds. Holly's Phonics is based on the Letters and Sounds phonics scheme and aligns with L&S Phase Two, with tiles for every single GPC in this phase.
