If you love the warmth and coziness of a log burner but want to make the most of your fuel and heat your room faster and more evenly, you need the Valiant Premium IV Stove Fan! A stove fan can help you save fuel, reduce emissions, and improve comfort by distributing the warm air from your stove more efficiently and evenly throughout your room. By using a stove fan, you can reduce your fuel consumption by up to 18%, lower your carbon footprint by up to 16%, and increase your room temperature by up to 38%.

The Valiant Premium IV Stove Fan is a heat powered fan that sits on top of your stove and circulates the warm air from your fire throughout your room. It is a compact and sleek design that measures only 199mm high, so it fits in the tightest of spaces and does not obstruct your view of the flames.

The Premium IV has a unique and innovative design that features an advanced radiating fin to generate up to 70% more airflow than competitor products. It can push out a huge rate of 350 feet a minute, which means you can feel the warmth faster and further away from your stove. It also has a low starting temperature of only 50°C, which makes it perfect for the latest cool-topped stoves. It does not require any batteries or external power, as it uses the heat from your stove to power the fan motor. It also has a thermally controlled actuator that optimizes the performance of the Peltier module, which converts heat into electricity.

The Valiant Premium IV Stove Fan is easy to use and maintain. You just need to place it on the top of your stove and it will start working automatically when the temperature reaches 50°C. It will also slow down and stop as the stove cools down. It has a durable and hard wearing black anodised finish that looks great with any decor and is designed for long lasting performance.

The Magnetic Thermometer in Green clearly displays the temperature of your stove, enabling you to maintain a safe and efficient operating temperature and reduce fuel consumption.

Place the Thermometer on the top, front, or side of a flat or curved surface. The built-in magnet will maintain its hold on steel up to temperatures of around 800°F (425°C).

The optimum position is on the flue collar, or if not practical, as close to the collar as possible for a stable reliable place for monitoring the stove and flue gas temperature.

Suitable for use with most vitreous enamel, iron or steel flue pipes.

For stainless steel flue applications do not attempt to fix to flue pipe, attach to the stove collar or place on the stove top.

Finally, the set includes the Valiant Moisture Meter. Use the handy Valiant Moisture meter to ensure you get the best burn from your fuel. Our newest model not only has a backlight screen to illuminate the reading but the built-in colour change technology indicates the moisture level of the firewood. It’s an essential tool for any fireplace owner!

Fuel quality is the single most important aspect of making a successful fire. To burn effectively the moisture content of firewood needs to be less than 20%, whether it’s being used in an open fire or a stove. Freshly felled timber can have a moisture content of between 30% and 60%, which when burnt can cause dangerous creosote build-up in chimneys.

Using a moisture meter is a great way to check whether your wood will give you a safe and efficient burn, or if it needs further seasoning. The screen will glow green if your fuel contains less than 20% moisture, indicating that it’s ready to go.

The new Valiant moisture meter can also be used in timber, floors and buildings in order to detect and measure moisture content.
