The cover is water-repellent to help protect against minor spills, fully breathable, gentle against delicate baby skin, and removable with an extended zip for simpler removal and refitting. For hygiene, it can be machine washed at 60°C, while a child-safe zip closure helps prevent little hands from accessing the mattress interior.
