Vintage Tom A fine Art Deco ruby and diamond ring

A rectangular panel shaped ring containing two square rubies, each 4x4mm ruby. Good raspberry red colour, with little or no inclusion, close set to each other. Mille grain setting.

A border of sixteen rose cut white diamonds, each 1.7mm and an estimated total weight of 0.25 carats, colour J-k, clarity P1.  All set into platinum, scalloped edging. Head 13.4x10.3mm, depth 3mm, weight 2.7mm.

Stamped 18CT PLAT. Art Deco period 1920-1930, no hallmark required for this period, but tests as 18 carat gold.
