Vintage Tom A fine Victorian Ruby and Diamond ring

A beautiful late Victorian ring. The principal stone an oval ruby 7.3x6.2x3.1mm, estimated at 1.17 carats. Fine wine red colour with no indication of any heat treatment.

Each side two old brilliant cut white diamonds. One x 5mm, one x 2.4mm, total estimated at 1.10 carats. Colour G-h, clarity VS.

The hand carved boat shaped setting 20x8mm, depth 3.5mm. Ring weight 3.3grams. Tests as 18 carat gold. No hallmarks legally required for this period.

An outstanding period ring. Size Q, we can resize free of charge but please check your finger size first. The ring will probably take 2 sizes up or down from its current size.
