A pair of drop earrings each one containing an oval cut lapis lazuli stone 8x5.7mm.

Set within an articulating drop, filagree edging, overall size 12x10mm, weight each 1.2grams. Attached to a post, new scrolls will be supplied.

Purchase for that 'vintage look' with real stones. The name lapis lazuli means "blue stone." The gorgeous blue colour of lapis lazuli has attracted the attention of artists for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians used it to create blue cosmetics. In the Renaissance, painters ground the stone to make ultramarine, a blue pigment used for skies and seas.

Testing as 9 carat gold, no hallmarks, probably purchased overseas. We have thoroughly cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaning machine.
