A square cluster ring. The head measures 8.3x8.3mm, depth 4.2mm.
The centre stone a square ruby 3.4x3.4mm, (est 0.25 carats) mille grain surround. Complimented by a surround of twelve small white diamonds 1.5mm each (total estimated at 0.18 carats) The head tests as platinum.
The shoulders are also platinum, arrow shaped. The shank, stamped 18CT PLAT, tests as 18 carat yellow gold. Vintage origination, 1930-1940. No hallmarks required ofr this period.
