Vintage Tom An antique ruby and diamond cluster ring

A marquise shaped cluster ring containing a marquise cut ruby 5x3mm surrounded by twelve old rose cut white diamonds each 1.6mm (total estimated at 0.20 carats)
The head measures 12x7mm, depth 3.6mm, weight 2.8grams. Shank is stamped 18CT. Period estimated at around 1880-1890, and tests as 18 carat gold. No hallmarks were required at this time.
In very good condition, the diamonds are hand cut and set. Size U. A large size but we could resize free of charge.
