Vintage Tom An exceptional sapphire and diamond cluster ring

A beautiful cluster ring set with a large oval black blue sapphire centre stone, this 9.5x7mm (just over 2 carats) claw set.

An outer border of ten brilliant cut white diamonds, each 3mm to a total carat weight of one carat, colour F-h, clarity VS, these compliment the sapphire so well.

Head 17x14mm, depth 5mm, weight 4.9grams. The head is white gold, shank 18 carat yellow gold. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1970.

Remarkable condition for a ring over 50 years old! Seems unworn.
