Vintage Tom An unusual lapis lazuli ring

A high carat* yellow gold ring, could be classed as a signet ring with a large square head 13x13mm, set with nine bead shaped lapis lazuli stones each 3mm diameter.

The shoulders are hatched pattern, tapering from 13mm to a plain 3mm shank at the rear.

*Tests as 18 carat gold. No hallmarks as believed to be of overseas manufacture. Period probably 1970-1980. Very good weight at 10 grams.
