Based on the natural willow form, the design was originally created as a wallpaper in 1887 and later adapted for fabric in 1895. Block printed at Merton Abbey in a diagonal branch pattern, it balances abstraction with a gentle reminder of the outdoors.

In this Willow Bough Blue colourway, trailing leaves in dusky navy and pastel blue sit against an off-white background for an understated look that suits a wide range of interiors.
