Wool Rug Francois Anthracite

From Villeroy & Boch, the 1748 Wool Rug Francois brings a considered layer of warmth and texture to living spaces, bedrooms and beyond. Handwoven from 100% natural wool, it offers a soft feel underfoot while remaining a practical choice for everyday interiors. Finished in an anthracite tone, the design sits comfortably in both modern and more traditional schemes, adding depth without overpowering the room.

A cotton backing adds strength and breathability, while the rug’s naturally insulating qualities help create a cosier feel. It is also compatible with underfloor heating, making it a flexible option for contemporary homes. Each piece features a unique handwoven pattern, so no two rugs are exactly the same. For ongoing care, professional cleaning is recommended.
