From Yogi’s, the NoseBuddy Neti Pot is designed for regular nasal cleansing using lukewarm saltwater. Used in the traditional yoga practice of neti, it allows water to flow in through one nostril and out the other to cleanse the nose and nasal cavity. With a long spout and large volume, it is made to rinse quickly and thoroughly, including when you have a cold, and is described as easy to use for both adults and children.

Salt and water are mixed directly in the pot, using the included measuring spoon for salt and a measuring mark for water to help achieve a physiological saline concentration of 0.9%. Clear instructions are included, covering how to cleanse, then blow and dry your nose after rinsing. NoseBuddy is also described as light, durable and unbreakable, making it suitable for use at home and when travelling.

Care

Rinse the pot and spoon with clean hot water before first use. Rinse with clean water before each use; after use, rinse the pot and spoon in clean hot water and leave to air dry completely. Regularly wash by hand with a mild detergent or in a dishwasher (for example, once a week), more often if you add oil to the water.

Safety information

• Use clean lukewarm water; boil for 1 minute and allow to cool to a comfortable temperature, or use distilled or sterilised water heated to lukewarm
• Avoid vigorous blowing after cleansing
• Do not share your pot for hygienic reasons
