Japanese Maple bonsai, Acer palmatum ‘Deshojo’, brings vivid seasonal colour to an outdoor bonsai collection. This popular variety has five-pointed leaves that emerge a bright red in spring, then change through orange to yellow-green as the year progresses. Its informal upright shape, often with multiple trunks, gives it a refined ornamental character.

A fairly hardy outdoor tree, it tolerates cold temperatures well and suits a wind-sheltered position. It enjoys partial to full sun and works beautifully as a small ornamental bonsai specimen. A free care guide is provided with each tree.
