Care

Prior to fitting, grease the threads on the nuts and bolts well.

Safety information

• Space grips at least 6 times the diameter of the rope
• Orientate the grip correctly: place the U-bolt on the unloaded end of the rope
• Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings
• Leave unused for 24 hours, then re-check torque settings and re-tighten if necessary
• After first application of the load, re-check torque settings and re-tighten if necessary
• During service, periodically check torque settings
