Care

Prior to fitting, ensure the threads on the nuts and bolts are well greased. During service, periodically check the torque setting and re-tighten if necessary.

Safety information

• Keep spacing between grips at least 6 times the diameter of the rope
• Ensure correct orientation: the ‘U’ bolt should be placed on the unloaded end of the rope
• Tighten each nut evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings
• Leave unused for 24 hours, then re-check torque settings and re-tighten if required
• After the first application of load, re-check torque settings and re-tighten if required
