Synopses

I want a Shop

When the Little Princess opens her own shop, it is an instant success, with the King and his courtiers queuing to buy her ingenious objects. Later, when customers compare what they have bought, she has some explaining to do.

I Want My New Shoes

The Little Princess refuses to put anything on her feet until the Maid shows her a special box. Inside are gleaming red shoes she is so proud of that she will not take them off.

I Don't Want a Cold

On the day of the royal picnic, the Little Princess wakes with a nasty, snuffly cold. Determined not to let it ruin her fun, she decides to carry on, even if it means bending the rules a little.

Can I Keep It?

The Little Princess adores her tiny tadpole and keeps him in a bowl by her bed, topped up with pond water and fresh weed. Although everyone says tadpoles are not really pets, she does not care, until she wakes up to a big surprise.

I Don't Want To Comb My Hair

The Little Princess hates having her hair combed because it always hurts. When the King puts her in charge of combing, she makes sure everyone in the castle has beautifully combed hair, leaving her own until last, with disastrous consequences.
