The AWE AWERide folding tyre and inner tube set is sized for 27.5 inch wheels and suits MTB use. Supplied with 1 folding tyre and 1 butyl inner tube, it combines a 27.5 x 2.20 cm tyre with a 27.5" x 1.75-2.25 tube fitted with a Schrader valve.

The tyre features a 30 TPI construction and a flexible folding bead for a lighter build than a traditional bicycle tyre, with compact storage when not in use. Its tread pattern and tyre composition are stated to provide more traction and lower rolling resistance. The butyl rubber tube offers increased durability, greater puncture resistance and excellent air retention, with 500%+ extra ride time compared to natural rubber, based on Dow Corning gas permeability test data 1972. Each tube is inflated under pressure for 24+ hours to ensure no leaks.
