Butyl rubber construction restricts air loss, with 500%+ air retention compared to natural rubber according to Dow Corning gas permeability test data 1972. The material also offers increased durability and greater resistance to punctures. Each tube is inflated under pressure for 24+ hours to ensure no leaks, and the tubes can be repaired using Awe Self Seal repair kits or any quality repair kit.
