From Otway & Orford, the ‘Victory at Last’ pocket square is a full-size silk design in green, black and gold, created in collaboration with artist John Ketchell. Inspired by Aston Martin’s outright win at Le Mans in 1959, the artwork draws on Ketchell’s semi-abstract impressionist style to capture the drama of the moment, referencing the DBR1 driven by Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby.
Made in England, the design is reproduced with care in Macclesfield, the traditional home of English silk printing. Printed on fine 16oz Mulberry silk twill, it is designed to balance colour and clarity between the printed and reverse sides, so it looks considered whichever fold you choose. A pale green border frames the artwork, finished with a skilfully hand-rolled and hand-sewn ‘shoestring’ hem in racing green.
42cm x 42cm
Dry clean only. Avoid pressing the hand-finished hem to preserve its distinctive ‘shoestring’ shape.
Please note: Colours shown are as accurate as possible, though may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
