Each arched basket is made from corrosion-resistant galvanised iron with a silver finish. Once assembled, the cages are intended to be filled with rocks or gravel to create a stable structure, while strengthened gabion hooks draw opposing wire panels tightly together to help each basket keep its shape. A manual is supplied to assist with assembly, and the baskets can also be filled with natural materials including concrete, sandstone and coloured stone. Stones are not included.
