Its compact 105 x 80 cm overall size makes it well suited to garden and patio settings where a secure, visually considered access point is required.

Made from corten steel, this gate develops a protective rust-like surface when exposed to the elements. It arrives with a normal metal finish, with the weathered appearance forming gradually over time. A lockable system adds security, while the post base is formed with mounting holes so it can be fixed to the ground for added stability.

Treatment & maintenance

Corten steel is also known as weathering steel and is naturally anti-corrosive. When first exposed to atmospheric conditions, it develops a protective surface layer against corrosion, so painting is not required. The gate is not rusted when delivered and will arrive in a normal metal colour before the weathered finish develops over time. If desired, the rusting process can be accelerated by spraying the surface with soap water and salt water.
