Operation is simple: open and close the umbrella by turning the knob on the pole, with a crank handle included for added ease. For strength and support, the aluminium pole is paired with 8 aluminium ribs, while a detachable steel cross base adds stability without taking up too much space. The included portable base is made up of four separate plastic parts, designed to steady parasols with a cross base and easy to carry once emptied.
