Synopses

Boot wakes in a scrapyard with no idea how it arrived there, or why it is no longer with its owner, Beth. With only two-and-a-half glitchy memories, it clings to the knowledge that it was loved. After meeting Noke and Red, Boot joins them to survive in secret and begins a search for Beth as everything it believed starts to shift.

Living with its robot friends in an abandoned amusement arcade, Boot has found true happiness, even if humans still confuse it. When the group comes across Rusty, an old, broken robot left behind in a testing lab, Boot is determined to help. Believing there is something special about Rusty, they try to free it and help it find its purpose.

BOOT The Creaky Creatures

After spotting a robot pet it once knew, Mr Piggles, Boot and its friends follow it to a green square in a city of skyscrapers. They discover a haven for broken and rejected pets, cared for by children who treat the space as a sanctuary. As Boot’s emotions swing between happy and sad, it begins to wonder if it is broken and turns to its friends to understand what is wrong.
