Celestron Aluminum Dew Shield with Cover Cap 11"

For 11-inch Celestron EdgeHD, RASA and Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope tubes produced after 2006, this aluminium dew shield adds a more controlled observing setup in the field. The Celestron Aluminium Dew Shield with Cover Cap reduces stray light entering the optical system and helps limit dew forming on the Schmidt corrector lens, while the rigid metal construction keeps its shape during use.

The interior is velvet lined to absorb excess stray light and moisture, supporting improved contrast for viewing and astroimaging. Two adjustable clips provide a secure fit and allow straightforward fitting and removal. A cable management slot at the base keeps essential leads routed neatly, including when using Fastar/Hyperstar configurations or Celestron Dew Heater Rings, while openings at the top and bottom accommodate dovetail rails. An aluminium cover cap is included to help keep dust off the corrector when the telescope is not in use and to assist with capturing dark frames for imaging.
