Celestron Dielectric Star Diagonal 2" with Twist-Lock

For a cleaner, brighter optical path and a more comfortable observing position, this Celestron 2-inch star diagonal brings a premium upgrade to refractor and Cassegrain-type telescopes. It provides a 90 viewing angle and uses a mirror diagonal with BK7 glass, diffraction-limited optics and 58 layers of dielectric coatings for over 99% reflectivity.

The twist-lock eyepiece holder keeps accessories centred for accurate opto-mechanical alignment, while the included 2-inch to 1. 25-inch stepdown adapter extends compatibility with both eyepiece sizes. Two interchangeable connection barrels are supplied: a standard 2-inch barrel for 2-inch focusers and an SCT-threaded adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. Machined black anodised aluminium construction, glare-threaded interiors and a flat black finish complete a thoroughly considered design.
