Replacing the retaining ring on the Schmidt corrector lens, it applies heat directly across the corrector glass for efficient dew prevention throughout the year.

The aluminium ring combines a rigid, lightweight build with a neat fitted appearance on the telescope tube. It connects to an external 12V DC power source and includes an integrated thermistor for use with Celestron Smart DewHeater Controllers, continuously monitoring the temperature of the corrector lens. Storage clips help protect the thermistor and power jacks when not in use, while the cable management clip keeps connections tidy at the telescope’s front cell.
