Precise alignment is handled by rack and pinion X- and Y-axis fine adjustment knobs, allowing the phone camera to be centred accurately over the eyepiece. The spring-loaded phone clamp fits smartphones from 58mm to 103mm wide, and the adjustable platform typically accommodates phones with their case on. A foldable construction makes the adapter easier to store and carry, while the cast metal, reinforced plastic and aluminium build gives it a robust feel for regular outdoor use.
