From Moldova’s oldest winery, Chateau Purcari ‘1827’ is a dry red wine from the Stefan Voda District. This blend of Rara Neagra and Saperavi carries 13.0% ABV and is shaped into a generous, full style.
Hand-harvested fruit is fermented under the direction of winemaker Federicco Giotto, then matured in French barrique. The result is a ruby-coloured red with deep aromas of plum, chocolate and pomegranate, followed by a rich, rounded palate with dried berries, vanilla and toasted spice from oak.
