From Corcova in Oltenia, Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu Sauvignon Blanc is a dry white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc, with 13.5% ABV. The estate’s modern revival began in 2005, when the vineyards were expanded and the wineries restored as part of a wider effort to re-establish the reputation of Corcova wine.

Fresh yet creamy in character, this unoaked monocépage opens with intense aromas of apricot and peach, with subtle notes of sweet almonds and muffin. The palate is lively and fine, moving from green lemon, vegetal notes, freshly cut hay and Turkish cranberry to a light, round finish with exotic fruit.
