From Cramele Recas, Conacul Ambrozy Sauvignon Blanc is a dessert white wine from Banat made from Sauvignon Blanc. Produced in 2018 under optimal conditions for botrytised grapes, it offers a concentrated, intensely sweet style with 12.5% ABV.

The wine shows a golden colour with very good clarity. Floral notes of acacia lead into overripe pear, quince and melon, followed by honey, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. Bright acidity brings balance to the velvety, rounded body, making it well suited to rich dishes and sweet courses alike.

Nose

Palate

Very good acidity, round, balanced, velvety and consistent body with well-integrated alcohol

Serving suggestion

Serve at 6–10°C. Pairs well with fine cheeses, Asian cuisine, foie gras, chicken satay, rice with almonds, sushi, and desserts with hazelnuts, raisins or honey, including cheesecake, baklava, Kataif or pannacotta.
