From Dawes, the 2025 Venture 1.0 Crossbar Hybrid Bike is a minimalist hybrid designed for low-maintenance riding without compromising on comfort or everyday practicality. Built around a Dawes 6061 alloy trekking frame with a hi-tensile steel fork, it’s well suited to city routes as well as canal towpaths and gravel paths.

A single front chainring keeps the setup refreshingly straightforward, while 6-speed Shimano gearing at the rear provides a useful range for mixed terrain. Alloy V-brakes offer reliable stopping power and are easy to maintain. Comfort is considered throughout, with ergonomic grips, swept-back handlebars and a padded Dawes comfort saddle helping to keep longer rides feeling smooth. Frame bosses for mudguards, racks and a kickstand add versatility for commuting and day-to-day journeys.
