Dio 'Dreamers Never Die' DVD

Dio: Dreamers Never Die is a DVD documentary film about the late Ronnie James Dio. It follows his career from childhood in upstate New York and early doo-wop singing through to his work as lead singer of Elf, Rainbow and Black Sabbath, including replacing Ozzy Osbourne. The film also covers the formation of the Dio band and his later reunion with the Heaven & Hell-era Black Sabbath, prior to his death from cancer in May 2010.

Authorised by the artist’s estate, the documentary incorporates previously unseen footage and personal photos from Dio’s archives, alongside contributions from Wendy Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, Vinny Appice, Lita Ford, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Eddie Trunk and Jack Black. This physical release also includes a 20-minute selection of deleted and extended scenes.
