Domeniul Bogdan Sauvignon Blanc Premium Organic Vegan White Wine

From Romania’s first biodynamic winery, Domeniul Bogdan Sauvignon Blanc is an organic vegan white wine from Dobrogea with 13% ABV. The vineyards lie near the Black Sea in the Murfatlar DOC, where warm summers and coastal breezes shape a fresh, dry style.

Hand-harvested in the first half of September, the grapes are collected in small 10kg crates before gentle destemming, sorting and a short cold skin maceration. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 14°C for 15 days, resulting in a zesty white with a generous finish. Serve lightly chilled alongside leek tart, grilled fish with asparagus or fresh goat’s cheese.

Tasting notes

Nose

Vegetal notes of seasonal white fruits, nettle, subtle hints of mint, floral elements and a touch of exotic fruit

Palate

Fresh, with medium-plus acidity, flavours of green fruit and apple, well-integrated alcohol, and a generous finish

Serving suggestion

Serve at 8–10°C. Pairs well with leek tart, grilled fish with asparagus, and fresh goat’s cheese.
