The nose is described as harmonious, offering notes of ripe red fruit and a slightly spicy character. You might also detect aromas of black plum, apricot, and anise, with playful nuances of raspberry, black cherry, and blueberry. On the palate, it presents an elegant and velvety flavour with a light acidity and very pleasant tannins. Some tasting notes highlight a round mouthfeel with hints of cooked fruit and cocoa. It's considered a dry red wine with a good body and an intense, complex flavour leading to a rich, long, lingering finish.
