With a safe working load of 5 ton (5000 KGS) and a 7:1 safety factor, it is tested to support controlled lifting and pulling tasks where a lighter, easier-to-transport sling is preferred. Its webbing construction is described as flexible enough to fit the load without damage to the load or the sling itself, while also allowing straightforward safety checks with no hidden corrosion. The sling is also stated to not weaken with age and to have the ability to absorb shocks.
