Electric Quilt 8 from The Electric Quilt Company is quilt design software supplied as a digital download licence for Mac or PC. Built for patchwork and quilting, it brings together a large library of blocks and fabrics with tools for drawing, editing, printing and exporting designs, making it suitable for quilters who want to plan projects in detail or develop original layouts from scratch.

The software includes over 6,000 block designs and 6,200 fabrics, along with more than 40 new and updated features. Quilts can be created at any size using library layouts, Quick Quilt projects or fully custom arrangements. EQ8 also supports fabric image import, yardage estimates that update as designs change, and pattern printing for templates, foundation patterns, rotary cutting charts and quilt images. High-resolution export options are included for print and web use, and internet access is required for downloading, activation, periodic validation and support materials.
