Ellis Rugby revisits a landmark moment in touring history with the Fiji Rugby Shirt 1952 Tour rugby shirt, inspired by the alternative Fiji side that travelled to Australia in 1952 under captain Apakuki Tuitava. The story behind the tour includes matches at Sydney Cricket Ground and two Tests against Australia, with Fiji winning the second Test 17–15 on 9 August 1952.
Manufactured from satin touch 100% cotton, the jersey carries a detailed appliqué crest and is made in ecru rather than pure white for a vintaged aged look. Herringbone finishing on the vents and tape at the neck opening complete the construction. A ‘Story-Teller’ microchip is included; scan the garment label on the front, just above the hem, to launch the video on compatible smartphones.
