Ellis Rugby’s Queen’s House 1871 rugby shirt draws on the heritage of Queen’s House RFC, a founder member of the Rugby Football Union in 1871. The club was established in 1867 in Greenwich through the cooperation of brothers Rowland and Edward Hill and the families of Hewitt and Fry, and took its name from the Queen’s House in Greenwich, now part of the National Maritime Museum.
Made from satin touch 100% cotton, this style is finished with a detailed crown embroidery, reflecting the crown crest worn by the team. Ellis Rugby branding sits on the chest and collar stand, while an appliqué number 8 appears on the back. Matching inner placket, cuffs and collar are paired with herringbone detailing on the vents and tape at the neck opening.
