The risk of chain getting tangled on the handle is greatly reduced, increasing safety and ease of operation. The ratchet mechanism allows for easy incremental adjustments without sudden recoil. This allows our Folding Handle Chain Binder can be operated in either direction and can be switched by using the toggle flip on the side. That switch can also be set to a "free-spin" postition, allowing for rapid adjustments in either direction. They are compact, and thus can be carried and stored without issue.
