Foo Fighters, Foo Fighters is an LP release of the debut studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters, originally released on July 4, 1995 by Roswell and Capitol Records. Dave Grohl wrote and recorded the album himself, with a guest guitar spot by Greg Dulli, and worked with producer Barrett Jones at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, Washington in 1994.

After completing the recordings, Grohl used the name "Foo Fighters" for the project and shared cassette copies with friends before signing with Capitol and recruiting a full band to perform the songs live. The album was promoted through extensive tours and six singles, including two with music videos.
