From Giraffes & Craftz, this Walnut Live Edge Chopping Block brings a distinctive, natural finish to food preparation and serving. Crafted from one solid piece of fine European walnut, it takes inspiration from the successful Oak James Martin design, with the live edge left intact and the bark removed for a smooth feel. Sanded in stages, oiled, and finished with a final coat of Bee’s wax butter, it’s designed to look considered on the worktop while offering a substantial surface for everyday chopping and slicing.

Each board is handmade and completely unique, with natural variation expected. A care card is supplied to help keep it looking its best over time. Please note that the stated width includes the live edge, so the usable cutting surface will be shorter.

Care

• Handwash with soapy water and dry by hand; do not put in a dishwasher
• Reapply 100% mineral oil with a dry cloth or kitchen towel if the board looks patchy over time
• For stubborn food odours, scrub with half a lemon
• Oil every 2–4 weeks if possible
