From Giraffes & Craftz, The Great Oak Chopping Board is a generously sized, handmade board designed to give you more room for everyday cutting, chopping and food prep. Crafted to order from 100% French Oak, it brings a considered, statement look to a worktop or kitchen island while offering a substantial surface for busy kitchens.

Each board is bevelled heavily around the bottom to lift it elegantly from the worktop, with a lighter bevel around the top for easier handling. Rubber feet help keep it steady in use. Every piece is completely unique, selected with care, and finished with a homemade beeswax blend, with the board treated twice with mineral oil and bees wax.

Care

• Do not put in a dishwasher; handwash with soapy water and hand dry
• Reapply 100% mineral oil with a dry cloth or kitchen towel if the surface looks patchy over time
• If odours linger from stubborn food, scrub with half a lemon
• Oil every 2-4 weeks if possible
