Grumpy Gardener Digamax Garden Spade

From Grumpy Gardener, the Digamax Garden Spade is a multi-purpose planting and potting tool designed for jobs that call for more reach and capacity than a standard trowel. Suited to planting holes when standing or kneeling, it offers a practical alternative where a conventional spade feels too heavy or cumbersome. The ergonomic T-shaped handle, soft-grip long shaft and lightweight alloy shaft are designed to provide a comfortable, secure hold while you work.

Its spoon-shaped head is etched with measurements in inches and centimetres to help guide planting depth for seeds and bulbs. A curved profile with a pointed tip and smooth side helps mark out planting sites and move through soil, while the serrated edge adds versatility for tasks such as cutting through roots, scraping, drawing seed furrows and weeding. Suitable for use in compost, loose or sandy soils, and shingle, it is a useful choice for a range of everyday gardening tasks.
