Felt uppers are made from recycled plastic and use a vegan-friendly alternative to wool, with a soft double-layer construction. Underfoot, the foam insole is made from plant-derived organic materials. The signature high-grip Gumtread outsole is flexible and long lasting, and it is made with recycled rubber. Through Gumbies’ partnership with Empower AS, each purchase recovers the equivalent of 80 plastic bottles’ worth of plastics from ocean shorelines and riverbanks, supporting local waste-pickers in South-East Asia and Africa.
