Synopses

The 1st to Die

A new crime series begins as the Women’s Murder Club forms: a homicide cop, an assistant district attorney, a pathologist and a reporter pooling their thinking on cases. A killer targets honeymoon couples on their first night together, and the investigation reveals that nothing about the murderer is entirely reliable.

The 2nd Chance

A young girl is shot on the steps of a San Francisco church. Detective Lindsay Boxer decides it is time to bring the Women’s Murder Club back together after their earlier case.

The 3rd Degree

As one of the best-loved heroines from the Women’s Murder Club faces death, a ferocious blast tears through a San Francisco neighbourhood. A townhouse owned by an internet magnate explodes, three people die, and a note signed “August Spies” is found at the scene. A wave of violence follows, with someone seemingly intent on killing every three days.

The 4th of July

In a late-night showdown, Lindsay Boxer fires her weapon in self-defence, triggering events that leave a police force disgraced, a city divided and a family destroyed.
