Hornby A3 4-6-2 60103 'Flying Scotsman' BR w/Steam Generator

A British railway icon in miniature, Hornby’s model of LNER/BR A3 Class ‘Flying Scotsman’ captures the locomotive in BR Green (Brunswick Green) as No. 60103. Rebuilt to A3 specification in 1946 and emerging in January 1947 as LNER No. 103, it was renumbered again in December 1948 following nationalisation, becoming BR 60103. This version reflects the later conversion to left-hand drive and pairs the classic 4-6-2 wheel arrangement with modern model detailing.

For added realism, it includes the Hornby Steam Generator and a flickering firebox, complemented by a diecast footplate and a painted finish. Produced in 1:76 scale (00 gauge), it is DCC ready with a 21-pin socket and specified for Radius 2 minimum curves.
