A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, paired with a 32T chainring and junior-friendly 127mm alloy cranks, supports smooth pedalling and a useful spread of gears as confidence grows. Tektro MD-280 mechanical disc brakes with 160mm discs provide controlled stopping, while the quick-release seatpost clamp makes height adjustments straightforward.
