For engine blocks and cylinder heads, Hycote Gloss Black Engine Enamel provides a 400ml high temperature coating formulated for demanding under-bonnet areas. The gloss black finish is intended for many areas of water cooled engines and combines colour with corrosion protection in a single self-priming application.

This enamel is resistant to petrol, oils and greases, making it suitable where exposure to common engine fluids is expected. It should be used where high-temperature properties are required and is not suitable for applications that need subsequent overcoating with an alternative coating.
